David Hummel is board certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. Lotsikas returned to his home state of Maryland in 2007. He received his formal surgical residency training at Iowa State University. While working in the ICU and Cath lab, she decided to start travel nursing in Washington State, Las Vegas, and Alaska right before the pandemic hit in 2020. Shortly after graduation, she moved to New Mexico where she began a residency program/ICU track at the University of New Mexico Hospital. ![]() She started her nursing career in 2018 after graduating with her Bachelors in Science of Nursing from Mercy College Health of Science in Des Moines, Iowa.
